Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a nineteen-year-old female, and I was wondering if it is possible to get stomach cramps during the first few weeks of pregnancy. I had intercourse a few days ago, and my periods are running late. Although there was no condom break, my vagina feels dry, and I have discomfort when peeing.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Normally, stomach cramps do not signal pregnancy but rather are premenstrual symptoms. Period delays are usually caused by stress or a recent sickness. So I recommend that you wait a week. However, if your periods continue to be delayed after a week, I recommend that you undergo a pregnancy test or a blood test.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
