Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had the first part of a root canal done today with a temporary filling. I am feeling no pain anymore in the tooth. Am I okay to run or exercise today, six hours after the procedure? I had pain in my gums for four days before seeing my dentist. They said it was infected and likely caused by a fracture in the past. Please suggest.

Hi,

I appreciate that you have chosen icliniq.com for your medical needs.

I am here to give you the best care possible.

If you are okay with what you are doing, it is perfectly fine. Moreover, there are no precautions required in the case of a root canal other than maintaining certain eating habits like avoiding very hard, hot, spicy, or sticky foods during and a few days after the procedure. Exercise is good, and brisk walking is advisable if you feel that running may overstress you. Eat healthily and drink plenty of clean, room-temperature water. Avoid soda and drinks for some time if you are in any such habit.

I hope my answer was helpful to you. Feel free to revert for more details and information.

Thank you.
