Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have an itchy rash that has white blisters with fluid in it, and it started severely itching especially at night.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and I am sorry for such discomfort.

Let me look at the image you have attached (attachments are hidden to protect the patient’s identity) and reply to you.

I need to ask a few questions regarding it:

  1. Are you diabetic?

  2. Any similar conditions in the past?

  3. Since how many days are you having the above symptoms?

  4. Any associated fever?

  5. Have you done any laboratory tests?

  6. Are you taking any medication, and if yes, is there any relief from it?

Kindly reply to the above questions so that I can guide you with a proper medical history of the present condition and also add relevant medical history in detail to guide you better.

Revert with answers.

Thanks.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I am not diabetic. I take no medicine, and I have never had skin break out before. The rash is on my stomach, breast, and arms.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have asked other follow-up questions also but you did not reply to all questions asked.

Replying to all questions asked above would have given me valuable medical information regarding the present clinical condition. In the image you have attached (attachments are hidden to protect the patient’s identity), I can see the skin lesions are present on the arms, stomach, and breast area. You should get it diagnosed before starting any random medication for it. Ask your physician to send a pus culture and sensitivity from the pustular lesion to know which bacterial or microbial pathogen is involved in the pustular rash. Proper medical history is vital to arrive at the diagnosis along with the help of laboratory tests.

Answer the following questions:

  1. What medications are you taking for your present skin condition?

  2. Is there any relief?

  3. Have you visited an ER (emergency room) or primary doctor to guide you on what it could be?

Follow up with a chat consultation.

Thanks.
