Patient's Query

Hello,

I have had a hard time defecating for two or three days, and it looks like this when I do. I am 22 years old and weigh 196 lbs. I am afraid of what I am experiencing. I can not poop correctly, and if I poop, it is just a very small amount, and it has mucus. Some parts of the stool are black. Is it something serious? Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

It is an annoying situation. But do not worry. I think it is not dangerous.

You are probably suffering from an episode of constipation. I suggest you take the following measures-

1. You must drink plenty of water.

2. You must eat green vegetables and fruits.

3. You can take Lactulose syrup- three teaspoons twice daily.

I hope it will solve your problem. However, to exclude any other problems, I need a few more information-

1. Have you ever seen blood with stool?

2. Is there any pain around the anus?

3. Do you have any other health issues?

4. Do you take any drugs?

5. Please tell me about your food habits.

Get back with details. I will try to help.

Thank you.
